Pick Up
Located just 5 minutes off of Rt 80, we invite you to stop by to pick up any amount of sod grass that you need for your project. Please call ahead as we cut on demand, this way we can have your order ready for you when you arrive.
Delivery
At Liberty Sod Farm, we run a fleet of trucks from Dodge 5500’s to Tractor Trailers. We can accommodate deliveries from 1,500 square feet to multiple tractor-trailers. Most of our vehicles are equipped with mobile forklifts to accommodate curbside delivery at your job site. We deliver to NJ, NY, Eastern PA and Western CT.
Please note we have a 1500sf minimum for delivery.
Information for Pick Ups
A roll of sod can weigh anywhere from 10lbs. to 40 lbs. depending on the amount of moisture in the soil. The following is a suggested list of what vehicles can accommodate.
Sedans/Small SUV- 10-15 rolls
Full Size SUV-- 15-25 rolls
Small Pick Up- 15-25 rolls
Full Size Pick Up- up to 60 rolls
Mason Dump- 1,080sf (2 pallets)
Trailers depend on length, width, weight capacity
Please note that these are suggested load amounts, it is up to your discretion on the amount of sod that your vehicle can accommodate.
Liberty Sod Farm employees are not responsible for the vehicle while loading or after sod is loaded.
